Relational Therapy Rooted in

Attachment, Somatics and Embodied

Authenticity

Serving Clients in person in Louisville and Lafayette as well as virtually throughout the state of Colorado

You are functioning, going through the motions and all things considered, you’re doing “fine.”

But beneath there is a background hum of anxiety and depression that feels ever present and impedes your ability to be fully authentic and embodied within yourself and your relationships.

You didn’t choose the generational wounds you carry, but they can keep you from feeling fully alive. I believe that the patterns you fall into make sense even if they are no longer serving you.

Together we will honor the reasons these parts of you came to be, hear their stories and tend to the emotions they carry, freeing space for new ways of being to emerge.

Individual therapy with me is about slowing down and quieting the mind enough to hear the whispers of intuition and longing calling you home through modalities like AEDP, mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing.

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy with me is about tuning into these disowned parts of self so that you can share them with your partner and make space for a more authentic and vulnerable way of relating.

You are resilient, whole and capable. I see your goodness.

Together we will create a space where you can metabolize your wounds in the safety of relationship, making room for your darkness as well as the glimmers of health and wellness already present within you.

Hi. I’m Taylor.

I am an ex-software engineer turned therapist out of a fascination with the complexities of humanhood, the meaning of a life well lived and a belief in the power of relationships to remind us that we are never as alone as our most wounded parts convince us we are.

I stand on the shoulders of the therapists, mentors and friends who have mirrored my goodness back to me at times when my own vision was impaired by generational wounds.

My work is grounded in attachment theory, affective neuroscience, dyadic regulation, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, AEDP and Emotionally Focused Therapies. Clients have described my style as warm, caring, depth-oriented and direct.

As a therapist, I am committed to cultivating communities of care that are inclusive of all peoples of all backgrounds, identities and orientations. I am actively engaged in unlearning my own biases and examining the ways privilege informs my worldview. I welcome my clients to engage in conversations with me around how my identities impact our work together and strive to remain humble and open to making repairs that support equitable care.

My practice exists in Boulder County, Colorado, on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho peoples.
